Local Vendor Program

Coldwater Solar is a $167 million investment in Branch County that will create over 250 local construction-related jobs as well as long-term operations jobs and contractor needs through the life of the project.

By signing up with the Coldwater Solar Local Vendor Program, you can ensure that your company's name and contact information will be included on the either the primary contractor bid list, or provided to the primary contractor(s) before they select their subcontractors and crews.

Solar farm construction is a specialized process, but it requires common products and services, many of which can be found locally. Apex will be selecting an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor to build the Coldwater Solar project, and this contractor will be responsible for hiring individuals and subcontractors to complete the project. Many of these entities could be local.

To learn more about the types of services that are needed to support solar farm construction, visit our Building a Solar Farm page.
